Aside from being an important receiver,  Martinez is an important person in the community.  Martinez works for Idearc Media selling digital media solutions to business all over the DFW Metroplex.  Together with his wife Dianna, they have a house full of kids nurturing them in a loving family environment.

During the Spring, you can find Martinez and his team, the Fort Worth Avengers, competing in the Texas United Football League chasing after another TUFL Championship.
